Thank you for sharing the story of your transformation. It is interesting and entertaining. I love your writing style, and hope you are inspired to continue.

Perhaps I will be inspired to share my own transformation. It is totally different, based on many and varied life experiences, but nonetheless, one day I knew I had transformed. It was like a lightbulb turning on. What a joyful realization that was!

Thank you again!

(PS. I recall your saying that you are 71. I am going to be 73 this month. It would seem we both have missions here that will carry on for quite some time.)

Love your writing style, Pawpaw! It’s easy for me to follow what you are saying. I’m old (73) and slow now. Born/raised in Nashville, TN, a Church of Christ member most of my life, but don’t hold that against me. Then something changed within me: I began broadening my Biblical knowledge...The Holy Spirit...the Gospel...Life.

As a “life lesson,” my daughter “drug” me from my home to Arab, AL, then Hammond, LA, and now the FL Panhandle. Whew! Every time I drove back to visit family in Nashville, I would bawl when I crossed the TN border. There’s no place like Tennessee. But I’m finally over that, I think. I do know our Father had His hand on us every step of the way. And still does. He has taken care of us, knowing we are fallible sinners. I truly need constant prodding from Him.

Thanks for listening. Praise God for His Grace and His Son our savior Jesus the Christ and the Holy Spirit! Amen!

Thank you for the kind words. My father-in-law was born and raised in Red Level, AL before becoming a traitor ;) and coming to Knoxville to play for the Big Orange in the late 60s. I'll never forget my first visit down there right after I married my wife. We met her uncle at THE phone booth in Red Level. We followed him to his house, in the pitch black dark backroads of LA (Lower Alabama), where I got meet all 12 siblings of my father-in-law plus his father. They were all still alive back then. Great people. I was shocked that some of them still didn't have electricity or indoor plumbing. And they were happy. Strong, strong family. I have an awesome pic of 5 generations from a trip years later with our 4-yo son. It was "Popper's" first great-great grandchild. Thanks for sharing your story!
